Payroll software developed by nLogix Solutions targets specifically the Indian firms because it has captured in it all the Payroll processes that a typical HR/Accounts dept. of a small/medium/large sized company follows. Now no need to buy all stationery of the Government forms. The software has incorporated all the forms which the Government of India has made compulsory for the Indian firms to adopt with respect to their employees.

The Payroll software starts off from formation of a Company and the branch offices. Then it inputs the Employee related information and in which group company/department he is recruited. Just assign the employee a salary structure and you are ready to generate and manage payroll processes with respect to that employee. Also the end user has the flexibility to create his own salary structures and salary formulae.

The pay slip is generated after the attendance is marked for that month. ESI and PF challans are available at the convenience of a mouse click. The payroll software also manages the Company Holidays and the Bank holidays.

All the reports related to company, employee, attendance/leave, payroll, Government of India forms (Forms 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 19, etc) are generated. The MIS ( Management Information reporting Systems ) are also generated by the software which gives the Management a clear picture about the Payroll and Attendance of the Employees.

OEE is a technique used by many of the world's leading manufacturing companies. It is a standard indicator that combines performance (are your lines making at their target speed?), machine availability (are they running all the available time?) and quality (is product coming off 100 per cent right-first-time?) as a baseline for improvement.

By focusing on these three measures, significant improvements can be made so that more machines are making more good product more of the time.

But collecting and collating the necessary data is a significant task, especially as most OEE projects start by having to rely on paper-based data recording. OEE is therefore usually introduced as a trial in a key bottleneck area of the factory where the greatest gains can be expected. This keeps the capture and processing of data at a manageable small scale.

Typically it doesn't take long before OEE analysis identifies problem areas and improvements start to be made, so the natural next step is to increase the scope of the OEE project. And this is when a paper-based approach runs into problems.

It becomes a major effort to collect paper records and process them to get the numbers. Some companies have one person dedicated to this task alone!
